RxFinder exists for one reason: to make it easier for patients to actually get the medication they've been prescribed.
When a drug is in shortage, or your pharmacy is simply out, tracking it down can mean calling store after store for hours, often while you're already unwell or stretched thin. It's a problem that has quietly gotten worse: active U.S. drug shortages recently hit an all-time high. We think finding your prescription shouldn't be the hardest part of getting better.
So we do the calling for you. You tell us the medication, the strength, and where you are; our system phones nearby pharmacies and asks whether it's on the shelf right now, and you get a real answer in minutes instead of an afternoon.
Why I built this
RxFinder started with a simple frustration. I'd used other services to track down a medication in shortage, and they cost more than the task seemed worth: some bill you for every call they make, some ask for $50 or a monthly membership for what is usually a one-time need. The help was genuinely useful. The price felt out of step with it.
So I built the version I wanted: one flat fee, and nothing to pay if we come up empty. That's the whole idea behind RxFinder, and it's why the pricing works the way it does.
Small hurdles, big consequences
Getting the care you've been prescribed is full of hurdles, and some of the most frustrating are the plain logistics: pharmacy after pharmacy that's out of stock, phone tree after phone tree, an afternoon lost just to find where your medication is actually on the shelf. Each one is a place a patient can quietly fall through the cracks.

We can't fix insurance or bring down drug prices. But we can remove the frictions in front of us. When your medication is in shortage, or your pharmacy is simply out, finding where it's actually available shouldn't be one more wall between you and your treatment. So we take that one off your plate. It can seem like a small thing. But when your health is on the line, every friction removed is one less reason to go without.

We're not a pharmacy or a healthcare provider. We don't dispense medication, handle prescriptions, or give medical advice. You fill your prescription the normal way. We just help you find where it's available.
