Getting your medication shouldn't be this hard
RxFinder exists for one reason: to make it easier for patients to actually get the medication they've been prescribed.
Why I built this
RxFinder started with a simple frustration. I'd used other services to track down a medication in shortage, and they charged far more than the job was worth: some bill you for every call they make, some charge $50 a search or a monthly membership, for what is usually a one-time need and a handful of phone calls. The help was genuinely useful. The price was out of all proportion to it.
So I built the version I wanted: one flat fee, and your credit back if we come up empty. That's the whole idea behind RxFinder, and it's why the pricing works the way it does.
When a drug is in shortage, or your pharmacy is simply out, tracking it down can mean calling store after store for hours, often while you're already unwell or stretched thin. It's a problem that has quietly gotten worse: active U.S. drug shortages recently hit an all-time high. We think finding your prescription shouldn't be the hardest part of getting better.
So we do the calling for you. You tell us the medication, the strength, and where you are; our system phones nearby pharmacies and asks whether it's on the shelf right now, and you get a real answer in minutes instead of an afternoon.
Small hurdles, big consequences
Getting the care you've been prescribed is full of hurdles, and some of the most frustrating are the plain logistics: pharmacy after pharmacy that's out of stock, phone tree after phone tree, an afternoon lost just to find where your medication is actually on the shelf. Each one is a place a patient can quietly fall through the cracks.

We can't fix insurance or bring down drug prices. But we can remove the frictions in front of us. When your medication is in shortage, or your pharmacy is simply out, finding where it's actually available shouldn't be one more wall between you and your treatment. So we take that one off your plate. It can seem like a small thing. But when your health is on the line, every friction removed is one less reason to go without.

We show our work
For every pharmacy we reach, you can open a plain-language summary of what they told us on the call: in stock or not, any quantity or price they mentioned. You're never just taking our word that we checked.
A success or your credit back
If we don't find your medication in stock, the credit goes back on your account to use on another search. We only use it up when we actually help.
We stay in our lane
We're not a pharmacy or a healthcare provider. We don't dispense medication, handle prescriptions, or give medical advice. You fill your prescription the normal way. We just help you find where it's available.
Your information is yours
We ask for as little as possible, and we don't sell your data. What you're looking for is your business.

We don't dispense medication, verify prescriptions, or give medical advice, and stock can change by the hour, so we always tell you to confirm with the pharmacy before you travel. We'd rather be straight with you than overpromise. Being honest about the limits is part of taking the job seriously.
